here are the things Google Knows About You!!

There probably have been times when you wondered why google, facebook and other social networking platforms are tracking you and what they can do with your data.

I am just going to tell you how much of your information Google stores about you without you even realizing it.

  • Google always keeps an eye where you’ve been even if you told it not to

Google stores your location whenever you move with your phone. You can see a timeline of where you’ve been from the very first day you started using google on your phone.

OR Location history

A Press investigation found that many Google services on Android devices and iPhones store your location data, even if you’ve used a privacy setting that says it will prevent Google from doing so.
Computer-science researchers at Princeton confirmed these findings at the AP’s request.

For the most part, Google is upfront about asking permission to use your location information. An app like Google Maps will remind you to allow access to location if you use it for navigating. If you agree to let it record your location over time, Google Maps will display that history for you in a “timeline” that maps out your daily movements.
Storing your minute-by-minute travels carries privacy risks,  google allows you to “pause” a setting called Location History.
But that isn’t true. Even with Location History paused, some Google apps automatically store time-stamped location data without asking.
For example, Google stores a snapshot of where you are when you merely open its Maps app, Automatic daily weather updates on Android phones pinpoint roughly where you are.
Storing location data in violation of a user’s preferences is wrong.

  • Google tracks everything you’ve ever searched – and deleted

Google stores search history across all your devices. That can mean that, even if you delete your search history and phone history on one device, it may still have data saved from other devices.
On top of that, they record every Google ad you have clicked on. This log is available in Google web history controls: Click here to know your activities on google

  • Find out what Google thinks about you to serve relevant ads

Google creates an advertisement profile based on your information, including your location, gender, age, hobbies, career, interests, relationship status, and income.
You can control and review the information Google has on you here: http://www.google.com/settings/ads/
Google also has a tool called Google Analytics, that helps publishers see what pages you have viewed on their website, how many times you have visited it, how long did you stay etc. You can opt out if you don’t want this type of data to be collected: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

  • Google tracks all the apps you use on your mobile or desktop

Google stores information on every app and extension you use. They know how often you use them, where you use them, and who you use them to interact with. That means they know who you talk to on Facebook, what countries are you speaking with, what time you go to sleep.

  • Google even tracks your youtube search history

Google stores all of your YouTube history, so they probably know whether you’re going to buy a new mobile or going to have children, if you’re planning for a job change, if you’re Hindu, Christian, or Muslim, if you’re feeling depressed or suicidal.
You can check your youtube history here.

  • Now Google is tracking your Financial transactions too

We all know recently Google launched its UPI app (Google Pay) in India for the payments.
If you are using UPI payment app google pay then google is keeping an eye on your financial condition too (just my perception).
As artificial intelligence is growing to fast, there are the chances in the near future google will use this data for e-commerce and you will get the price of any product according to your financial condition.
For example,  If You are planning to buy a pair of shoes and on the e-commerce sites you are getting the price as 1000 bucks and your friend is getting the same shoes in 800 bucks or vice-versa (just my perception).
